The reason for the room is so sweet, it is a miniature/model/toy scanner where you can pop a little toy kitten in to get familiar with how cat/mri scans work. Make it less scary for kids.

I remember my ma getting a similar effect from a lumbar puncture. Some kind of loss of cranial fluid so her brain was bruising against her skull. Glad it's okay!

Recently had a patient with multi vessel disease, abnormalities in both ventricles, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, obesity, pack a day 40 year smoker. PCI didn't go well. We had to put him on ecmo+impella. Long story short this dude destroyed his body over a lifetime, but since he received his covid vaccine a couple of weeks prior, people found this relevant. It's like everyone is living on another planet. I don't know if I actually realized how fucking stupid people are until about the middle of last year, and it just keeps getting worse.
