This is exactly how discord is hurting forums. It's worse than IRC was.

Disgusting Z boy version of vent and team speak that went commercial and shitty but because it had Z boy support by then, it has persisted instead of becoming non existent like previous chat programs.

Voice chat ruins shit for me. Big NO to discord... Get in there and type your raid alerts like a boss...

I'd assume 75% of this community can type really really fast, and from a really young age..

I know for a fact, it's EQ i have to thank for my typing ability. Definitely wasn't that 7th grade typing class...

saying you don't use discord just means you don't raid

you have no idea how helpful and useful discord really is until you start to join a guild

that actively raids

there's so many things that discord can do over "teamspeak" and "skype" (lol)
