Great Haggler, I am sorry to say that having that game run smoothly on your current laptop is indeed a pipe dream. Just to be sure, though, go to Control Panel -->System-->Hardware-->Device Manager. Tell me what is says under "Display Adapter" (your video card.)

Your proc alone is probably going to bottleneck you, but it might suffice if you had a decent discrete card paired with it.


You could try tweaking your windows installation, but if it's your video card bottlenecking you, that wont really help much.
