Poll should have been multiple choice.

Voted Toyota (not lexus),
Would have also voted Subaru.

That said there are some vehicles that are just better than others from other manufacturers. But if I had to lump all their vehicles together and determine who is the most reliable. It would be those two.

Ford and Chevy do have a few good vehicles in their past.
Nissan in the past made affordable cars with plastic bodies, they were pretty good imo. Modern day, I don't know where they'd land.

All the places they are used, the way they are used right now. You know, in the land of shit-eating suck-ville.. the village of the damned most of us call the real world.

Besides, there is nothing for a man to be passionate about with EV's. It's the same argument I have about consoles and mobile phones. Convenience that ultimately robs the very interest I have in messing with the thing is self defeating. It's madness to continue if I like it. [You must be logged in to view images. ...Not to mention most EVs coincidentally happen to be rolling surveillance systems. Teslas are so bad in that respect they even make the camera-loving Chinese uncomfortable. I have no interest in ever buying or owning a car that spies on everything I do. I'll buy a horse and buggy first. I have nothing against electric motors. Railroads have been using them to good effect since the WW2 era. Anything with a battery in it will always suck, though. I don't care how fast an electric car can go. Out in the real world all cars go the same speed anyway because they're all limited by the same traffic laws. I'll be happier when they can run the same distance and refuel as quickly and not suffer crippling worn-out battery replacement cost in not a lot of years.

Quality-wise, thread isn't really "what have you owned?" Well, at least not for everyone. The wife and I have owned Buicks, Cadillacs, and the odd Lincoln most of our lives but I wouldn't regard any of them as the best-quality builder. Rather, I accept owning a lesser-quality vehicle if it's something I actually want to sit inside as opposed to driving around in a well-built sardine can that I detest. I can live with turning a ratchet once in awhile.

Edit: 4-door 'lady jeeps' are a kick to the nads but reveal a truth.

I dont see what all the crying is about. Wow, you wont have screaming exhaust anymore. So what? Yeah its not loud but its fast, pretty much free to operate. Not seeing the down side here. Dont get me wrong, the 787b, 2-3-4 rotor engines, judd v10's, judd v8's, 2 stroke diesels, etc.. they sound AMAZING but so what. Things change. Horses farted and shit everywhere for 2000 years. I think we're moving in the right direction. All I see is "these darn modern cars dont even make sounds like banging coconut halfs together! preposterous!"

I see your point but it's bad and even worse to openly support such. It honestly does sound like something a girlfriend would argue with me.

<~~ had a racecar. Built my racecar from boxes of parts from another mans garage. You got a picture of a race car, thats cool.

I suggest you watch the cash days with the tesla. They are banned from street races against IC because they win so often. They had to CANCEL the tesla on the streets because the IC car's couldnt compete.

First, that is awesome. And yes, I do. I really like that photo. I think its cool. I'm sure you do too, with your background.

I have followed teslas since the roadster, I am not ignorant. Its the same argument as Flappy Paddle transmissions, guy. They are faster and better in all ways yet they are not. It doesn't matter how fast they are. I can get all my doors blown clean off but I still hold my head up. You have removed the man from the equation at this point.

I grew up around racing, most things I associate with them come from somewhere on that side of the fence. Going the fastest was the point, so you are correct, the Teslas are fast and to my point, flappy paddle transmissions are fast. But I don't care to watch them. They have removed the things interesting to me.

Telling you, its going to make all vehicles basically the same. They are already like that in some ways. Windows 10 will be last OS from Microsoft, they just roll out updates.

Computers made them bland.
