I'm going to just say this in bold: it was a riot, not an insurrection, and not a particularly violent riot at that.

I wish I had saved the youtube video of Jake Angeli in the Senate. He literally walks in, the cops guide him to his photo op, and he walks out. There was no shooting. The whole day was a gigantic PR stunt. The best I can do is this, I guess.

Or maybe watch this one. The narrator is doing their absolute best to make you panic, and yet it's obvious the actual people were just chillin. It was a protest march at best.
