On the topic of refusal, I have turned down a couple women who refused to tell me if they had any STDs, STIs what ever it's called now. If someone isn't going to be honest, I'm not going to share that experience with them.

It's definitely an issue in America. Why should the first thing I learn about some people be their sexual orientation. It's not that I'm discriminatory against anyone but do I really need to know what someones sexual preference is the first time I meet them. No.

Absolutely on board with all of this. I want to avoid diseases and yeah...identity has been wayyyy too damn emphasized. From what I remember of Gen X they were all about rejecting labels. Millennials+ all for them. Old guy I was talking to the other day's stance on it was, "put your fucking pants on and act right."
