I know the low population of red99 is the butt of the joke, but seriously. If a new pvp server was launched, I can guarantee you that you'd have a minimum of 300+ players (probably a bit more) which is more than enough to enjoy the game.

The mistake you're making is assuming that the current state of r99 population = the # of a fresh pvp server. R99 today is dead for other reasons than a disintrest of EQ pvp, but you'll probably not interested in why that's so. I get it, you hate r99 and that's fine as that EQ experience isn't for everyone, but let's at least be honest.
