Being accountable is just paying a price for your actions and this is not authoritarianism, it's actually quite the opposite. When someone can do thing without repercussion, is because of authoritarianism and this is why Trump should be in jail.
Also, I am fairly certain I own a restaurant, have employees and I also pay taxes and the stimulus is most definitely not being paid up by the rust belt or most red states my friend. The economy of new-york and california accounts for 25% of the US economy, by itself so I doubt YOU pay for the benefits of blue states.
