Ok so what that means is there’s conflicting data which means that there’s a chance wearing a mask could reduce spread thereby helping to save lives. Wear a mask in case it works.

I guess that's the schism between a country divided. You say do this because "maybe it works" vs "show me it works". 99.5% survival rating for the virus and we should shut down the world and take a vaccine that maybe has a 50% chance of working?? Logical.
