So like, in terms of resists...

I get that a few items have some huge resists for like non magic, but.. can someone break it down for me when that realistically comes into play? Like, if I'm level 50 and grouping in KC or, I guess city of mist (dont know where else I'd group, maybe BW, at this level),.. then in which situations are the resists actually practically coming into play?

I get that it's nice to be a well rounded warrior, but aren't there gonna be a lot of exp camps i'm out where Fire or Cold resist literally NEVER comes up? And in that case wouldn't I be just fine without froglok crown or morid or any number of other items?
It basically depends where you go, but yeah, the majority of leveling spots have little to no casters. It's mostly just Sebilis and Chardok. People overrate resists a little pre-raiding, but of course if you're planning to tank in Sebilis on a daily basis, you'll want some. You don't need a full set, I always cringe when I see a tank put on the whole lineup of JC resist gear and whatnot, leaving them about as tanky as a rogue. Most group setups will be able to supply you with resist buffs which will go a long way. It's never necessary to have more than 100ish in a resist pre-raid.
