I never understood the purpose of shuttering small business and then funneling everyone into walmart, home depot and kroger.
How is this not a purposeful superspreader action? Instead of people distancing themselves by shopping in smaller stores, our genius leadership class put everyone in the same 3 places, pretty much guaranteeing that people infect each other. Although I suppose this was necessary to spread this 99.7 survival rate virus in order to engineer the narrative that something bad is coming for us and that only Andrew Cuomo can save us. They gave him an emmy for putting covid patients in nursing homes. It saved us all.

Take this slimeball above me repeatedly referencing the 99.7% survival rate as though engineering our society to save those .3%, not to mention limit the spread of future influenza etc., not to mention protect ourselves and NOT be ravaged by bioterrorism to the tune of many millions in the future is just not worth the effort. Those lives just don't count because the proportions in this disease currently affecting us are small. Even though 250,000 is a huge number. And nobody knows anything anyway, and it's impossible to make inferences, so why bother? It's the cry of the stupid man who is loath to admit that the smart man is smarter. Who cannot comprehend that his political philosophy is and has cost innocent lives, and so must respond with virulent indignation. There's blood on the hands of the medical luddites today, and they will probably enter a lifetime of ever-grander delusionality to escape the implications of their mass foolishness upon our democracy.

We're only 9 months into this shit, nothing has been "proven" nor will it be for quite some time. There isn't even an effective vaccine for sars-cov-2, and they have had 18 years to work it out. So the idea of a viable and effective sars-cov-19 vaccine in the same year is rather unbelievable. Gonna continue scoffing at my boy Trump on that one. This applies to everyone who has uttered a "covid fact"

LimpKitten, care to explain why we don't always lock ourselves inside and avoid human contact in order to save human lives? Surely we would save lives if we all just stopped seeing eachother face to face.

This pandemic, whose origin is inconclusive, is proof that we must adjust our way of life and sanitary practices to cope with our vulnerability to infectious disease. Larger, more interconnected world. Larger pool from which to conjure up new contagions. Which can and will be engineered and spread by state actors for geopolitical ends, too. Demanding that we install toilets and running water in every building is not surrendering the world and human contact; it is demanding a higher standard of hygiene from our civilization than that in Brazil. The fact is, I take a militarist position on this virus, which offers a rather low-impact drill for dealing with biological hazard, and I argue with each of you do-nothing defeatists from the right. Our laziness in the confrontation of this issue will cost us many lives in the next one, you know. We should have developed the protocols to kill the thing within our territory. We should be able to achieve the same feats the Chinese achieve, then be better than them by de-escalating to a freer posture after beating the threat. But for you, it is too much work. Because it will impact the quarterly profits of the institutions which pay the people from whom you get your political "philosophy".

Yall do know all the president does is veto a bill or sign it, right? Executive Orders are not common, except for under Bush II. Trump put his prized position of worldly power (that he received from Satan) and made the Chinese Bat Virus a joke. His attorney was IN ON 9/11. These people are all cultists that received their money and power from Satan. You should focus on number 1, your loved ones, and God, and nothing more.
Thank you Lord, that's exactly what I plan to do.
