Once in my 20s my downstairs neighbors were fighting. I put my ear to the floor and was like "wow they're really going at it". The couple down there had a 3 year old kid. The best outcome in a fight is not getting chinned and 99% of the time that means either running away (tricky depending on situation) or getting the first hit in (often followed by the former).
