The best way to defeat China is to learn Mandarin and grow their dependence on you and infiltrate their society. Its not a bad idea to learn if you want to make money and sell technology back and forth.

There will never be a defacto win over China unless the political regime collapses there, I dont' see that happening. They have monotized and commoditized oppression and surveillance.

The best we can hope for in the near future is a steady back and forth that keeps us strong.

Basically you pick your preferences in order, if no one has a majority of the votes (over 50%), you eliminate the bottom candidate, and add the second-choices of those people to the vote count and reevaluate, you repeat until someone has a majority.

So if I voted, in order of preference:
Candidate A,
Candidate B,
Candidate C

And my first pick, Candidate A, had the fewest votes, the system would say "Ah that sucks you didn't get your first pick no one liked him, so now your vote goes to Candidate B since they're your second choice, let's see if there's a winner now". And you repeat that and go down your list and your vote will always go towards someone relevant. In this way, everyone's vote matters, and candidates actually have to appeal to people because it could be extremely important if you're a huge portion of people's second-choice if all of their first-choice candidates get knocked out.
