Love how people say that there was no toxicity before Freedom. Riot had no competition aside from AG when they felt like competing. AG was not a guild that competed week in and week out. They are a different kind of successful guild. They competed when they wanted and if they wanted to take it easy for a while, they did.

There will never be toxicity when there is no competition. The toxicity started when Riot started losing mobs and were upset that 2 of their favorite people left and "betrayed" them. They had an overwhelming disdain for Freedom from day 1. This is what causes toxicity, not killing everything uncontested for 9 months. Blame me all you want but it takes two to tango.
I think(know) that you suffer from brain damage

Serious question - if this project ever shuts down, how will you cope?

I'll just continue to spend time with my kids, wife and family. Play some other games. I don't really play here that much outside of raiding but continue to presume!

Do you play over there with the AG that broke off? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah, I, Nemce, am guild leader over there. The real AG still lives. We got about 8 COTH mages parked around VT and do full VT clears every other cycle. There are two top guilds and we are one of them doing full VT clears.

That sweet, sweet necklace is on most of our necks!

Heya Celelilly!

Yeah, things are going great! I haven't "taken over TAKP" as everyone thought i would. Honestly, I live my life there very much like some retired CEO would. No forum questing, going hard in the paint staring at spawn spots or any bad dealings with other guild leaders.

It is extremely civilized. The strats for clearing things are heavily guarded secrets between each guild and only certain guilds can achieve all the content as a result. Mechanics are the real enemy there. Luclin is a monster that we have tamed and are looking forward to PoP here pretty soon in 2021 or by the end of this year.

There is a concept of heal teams to stall out seven instantly spawning raid mobs on Emperor fights (think AoW on crack). And we use multiple bard kite mechanics to manage certain Vex Thal areas. The mechanics do weird things when you try to blitz Tunare with the zone up, so we came up with ways to clear PoG in two hours, including the Tunare fight.

Anyway, lots of fun is happening regularly and lots of content to come.

The staff killed that server for me. At one point they were crashing zones intentionally and then laughing about it on IRC. I've played on p99 for 10 years off and on and never experienced that level of intentional griefing.
