With all that gear you will be an exceptional tank until 20s, and competent until probably 40s.
You're buying into all the ranger hate too much I think... Again, with all that gear you can just grab any healer and you have a workable group (at early levels). Then start inviting...

There is only one weapon a ranger should be using in primary, and that is a Wurmslayer. And guess what? You ARE the tank. There is a lack of tanks on this server and a ranger is a fine one right up to level 60.
