Trump has narrowed the gap with Biden with the Democratic challenger's lead shrinking to just one point in 15 key election battleground states, poll shows.

The survey, carried out from August 12-15, found that Democratic candidate Joe Biden and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris had a national 4-point advantage over Trump and Vice President Mike Pence at 50%-46%.

The 4-point advantage given to the Democrats was on the cusp of the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

Plus or minus 4 margin of error means they could be essentially tied.

In the 15 crucial battleground states, the gap had closed even further with Biden given just a 1-point lead over Trump at 49%-48%.

And with the margin of error, (assuming it's the same poll), Trump could actually be ahead by 3%.

The movement among voters nationwide towards Trump and Pence since June is concentrated among men and those between the age of 35 and 64.

And there it is. Who is moving to Trump? Men and other mature people.

Who is not moving to Trump? People under 35, i.e. those still governed by their feelings. Children then, according to the post-modernist development theory.

No I won't! They promised the freed slaves 40 acres and a mule, but the Compromise of 1877 put an end to that dream just 12 years later and the slavery continued under a different name. But the basic starting point for a probabilistic, poll-driven model ought to be this: Is polling in August a highly reliable way to predict the outcome in November?

The short answer is “no.”

Yeah those polls that just came out? Yeah...you see those are August Polls. Ever since we correctly predicted Hillary would win back then we discovered that August Polls are uniquely faulty. June, July polls? Fuckin' solid man! September polls? Truthful!

Surely it had nothing to do with this law. Prior to that it was profitable. Obviously that's not the only thing, but that republican legislation has cost them pretty significantly and there's a sharp decline of viability from that point forward.

The USPS is a total joke. Go into a UPS or FEDEX and then compare that with USPS. One of those 3 places you will be treated like a total inconvenience, ill let you guess which one.

Yeah I mean, maybe your local one sucks, the several I've been to had really nice people there, but again I don't live in a swamp so maybe that's why, idk.

Also that's not really what I was talking about, I think most people don't get particularly good service at the DMV either, or probably most other government agencies.

The USPS though, is required to deliver mail to any and all locations in the United States, there's definitely communities that either wouldn't get delivered to or they'd be charged insane prices by UPS/Fedex to deliver there..but that's also kind of besides the point.

It's not really meant to be profitable, it was created with the intent to only charge as much as it needed to to sustain itself because we all sort of agreed people should have access to getting mail. So, I mean, its kind of problematic that it's not breaking even I think is probably a better conversation to have and maybe investigate why that is and what decisions lead to this point that maybe could be rectified.
