Yes honey, you are in school and able-bodied. I had to quit running a tech company. I definitely have broken wings. Aspire to catch up. -j

I was a journalism major for just long enough to know the entire industry is crooked as hell. If the journalism industry wasn't making a profit on BLM/Covid-19/protests they wouldn't cover it. The old addage of "follow the money" is why this shit is being peddled. High IQ, educated holier than thou ivory tower asshats that tout White Goodman's "we're better than you" mantra need to learn the difference between being a parrot and knowing enough to know that you really don't know enough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glnqzfPNEzM

Heart disease and cancer aren't contagious airborne diseases, but if they were and if there was a simple way to reduce transmission of them, like breathing out of a snorkel, I would hope people would willingly face that inconvenience rather than risk killing their fellow citizens.
So because they're not contagious we shouldn't focus on them as much? I disagree as IMO the societal damage these things do to not only family members but the community at large. The media isn't clamoring all over these things because they haven't yet figured out how to monetize them.

Making soda, alcohol, and cigarettes illegal would legitimately go a long way to reduce disease prevalence, but fats would march armed and maskless because freedom.
This we 100% agree on.

JD, I haven't been exposed to a more vile pile of nasty spew since wandering around Berkeley University on a Saturday night in the early 1990's. I really can't tell if you're honestly trying to make a joke or believe what you posted. Oh, and thanks for calling me a right-wing goober; it warms my heart. Yes, some of my views are right-wing while some are left wing.

BB, I agree that the numbers are looking better but that doesn't answer my question. Why haven't you jumped on the "we need to rage against the cancer or heart disease machine" bandwagon? One family member and four friends have dealt with covid-19. I know many more that have dealt with cancer and even a handful that have had heart attacks. IMO heart attacks and cancer have fucked up more people than covid-19 but because the media hasn't focused on it society as a whole hasn't jumped on the bandwagon. My best man at our wedding had a heart attack about 5 years ago. He took a couple months off work at a time when he was critically needed. He is restricted for the rest of his life from doing anything physically significant such as wrestle with his dog or go salmon fishing.

That's not true. I am the one who rejected and fled, after being drugged by two strangers and enticed into bed by them the first time I met your gangly falsetto pal who doesn't take estrogen. You're a sick fuck and your friend who sexually assaulted me not out of perversion but out of malice because she thinks I'm a neo-nazi because she's nuts is a stim-addled nutjob who is passing on delusions to you. You are a really ugly person. -j

Fallacy of relative privation.

Do you really need it explained to you that it's okay to focus on more than one thing? Do you really think that, for example, we should focus 100% or even 50% of our resources on breast cancer over other cancers because it is the most common type of cancer?

There are enormous resources dedicated to heart disease and cancer but these are extremely difficult problems to solve, their solution essentially requiring mastery over mortality.

Stopping covid only means being as competent as a society like Korea or any other country that is managing this. Put on a fucking mask Karen.

Never fooled me much. My standards changed.

Don't you understand that I almost died for want of money? I am a crippled person with no family who was thrown into the street of Seattle. And I never did much more than dates and some undies frolicking with a patron. I did a good fucking job. Why are you piling on like a rednecked boy?

I might go on to med school, if any will take me allowing for my disability. Most won't. But I wouldn't be a fake doctor. Otherwise my ambition is and always was to be a good wife. Juris is really honestly the kindest and most solid man I have met since my father(hehe). -j

There's also covid being new. It gets more attention because we haven't accepted it as our normal reality, in comparison to obesity, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. Also masks help reduce disease transmission. The issue is still whether or not to wear them. You should. Saying that these diseases also exist just diverts attention from the fact that you should wear a mask.
