No, Manastone and Rubicite Armor have high price tags solely because of rarity. Pre-Nerf Fungus staff is one of the most useful items I've ever traded around my characters in Everquest. Just saying.

I'll definitely second this statement. I've played around with damn near every super rare item and a pre-nerf fungi stick is above and beyond the best. I have my staff on a paladin who is camped in lower guk soloing. While having sow/jboots in a dungeon is impossible, stacking a paladin so he regens 38 a tick (tunic, staff, divine purpose) is game changing.
