Would you like me to claim the Roman Empire only lasted 10 centuries and forget about the other conservative non-progressive offshoots it spawned, that's fine. 10 centuries then. Just because the Romans adopted some of the aspects of the liberal and progressive Greeks doesn't make them so, it makes them utilitarian.

Conservatism is always better because slow deliberate change over time produces tons less bodies in the end. This is why most people become more conservative as they age. Because they realize stability is more important. You want to raise your family, to improve your lot, and to have a good solid stable social life because that's what makes humanity happen. Then some real smart people who are very urgent happen along and they have all these great untested ideas where no one has ever thought about secondary or tertiary effects and then you wind up with a giant mass grave and everything is on fire. Ooops!

Fort bend ISD and soon Katy ISD (massive suburban Houston school districts that outperform most public schools) are not holding in person classes. Those are republican leaning suburbs. I’m gonna go with regardless of what the science says, no one is taking the risk of sending their kids back to school
