I heard the footsteps of an enemy at least 10 seconds before it had attacked me, I was transfixed by my inventory and didn't really try to kill it when I noticed I was in danger.

I died.

One would think the AI would have been smart enough to equip the uber armor tease at the end though before attacking me )

Survival games aren't fun for me. Think I'm just gonna play DS3 some more if I feel like video gaming. That's the perfect game for me. It kills me until im disgusted with it and then I quit for a few months. Code Vein might be fun, too.

Well it's two completely different games. One of them depends on APM to keep you focused and the other depends on your ability to stay focused while doing absolutely nothing.
