2014 was fine as well, there’s been opportunity in America since 1776

Personal weakness is a personal problem, seek Christ

Amazon is doing amazingly well despite rural Americans basically subsisting on welfare and retirement funds.
Out in the woods, stick folk, hill billies, yokels, rubes.

Rural sounds so sophisticated, why I bet they eat butter with their grits. *whitles* fancy.

Guy: "Hey can you use that in a sentence?"

Redneck: "Hell yea, so that rural elf makes fun of that Adobe elf"

I don’t often eat grits, but they’re pretty damn good

Look, I am not calling them ignorant or backwards today, but they don't have the F35s and trademarks to compete with Amazon in general. As soon as one becomes even moderately successful, they have few options, sell their business to Amazon or buy a subscription to an Amazon service and remain a serfsidiary or get shut down by the mob and the feds for operating illegal on the black market, without a license, or w/e. Or poaching gulf shrimp with toxic levels of pollutants that aren't legally allowed to be sold at the supermarket, so like the mexican shrimp farms which are owned by Amazon now have all the business and are now operated by robots.

See:

New businesses should definitely start up with automation. Human labor is pretty unreliable. Then they riot. That too.

There will be a lot less investment in human capital going forward because people are essentially worthless. I doubt that government can fix this.

However there will be niche markets for hand crafted goods and personal services going forward. People will certainly need someone to talk to about all this automation. And the best of the best companies will still hire the most professional personnel and use them as a selling point vs the companies with the weird AI. However that weird AI will probably become the norm that the lowest classes of humans are expected to model their behavioral patterns around.

TLDR Shrimp costs skyrocket, poor people are forced to subsist on government big soy. And robots manufactured in China with Russian steel, put to work in Mexico produce all our luxury goods.

they made it so you can order food from amazon with your food stamps. I tried it, 'cause I do have those despite retiring wealthy under 30 (my finances are hard to explain). The trail mix is okay, the mixed nuts are stale. Walmart is better for quality.

The general election scenario that Democrats are dreading!

And what are they dreading? Read the article and gnash your teeth. Those motherfuckers are dreading that the economy improves. That people find jobs, that they start to make money, that they're not starving and beholden.

Dirty fuck-ass garbage people. Imagine the cynicism where you're willing to throw innocent Americans into a garbage disposal so your guy can win.

Here's is the Democrat party mouthpiece and harbinger of doom hoping for disaster earlier today:

You can tell people are back to work around here.
It's night and day difference from a couple weeks ago.

YES! and YES!

A giant portion of the 'recovery' is restaurant workers and also all those companies who took stimulus payments in exchange for having to call the employees back instead of keeping them laid off. Things that you and I and other clear-thinking and reasonable people were expecting.

My point is that other people, who also probably think themselves smart and reasonable, were so blinded in their expectations of failure and dread that they were rubbing their hands together right until the moment the numbers came out.
