On Live I remember seeing a lot more epics in general. Part of the problem with an expansion-locked server. The hardcore guilds moved on to tougher targets rather than socking old world quest pieces for plat or their 5th alt.

This is not a perfect representation of what Live was. It's quite close though and unless you can wipe the memories of everyone playing it will never be again.

So now that we're removing recharging from Blue, any word on if maybe some items might me more obtainable? Would be sad if all patches do is prevent people from getting fun loot, PoS is a totally different ball game now! Of course now that it's new we get to form new strats, so it's not all bad! I'd still like it if somehow these three classes can get their epics cause it's a reward that players like to have. The Cleric epic can be obtained whenever ragefire spawns (daily?), so why is it that we get a bard epic twice a month? Ask anyone and the cleric epic is more important to Blue for preserving xp. I know I'm beating a dead horse into the ground, but I've heard a lot of people agree with me so I'm willing to type and be called names for a bit. Give me your wurst!

Look, do you just not understand that you can say "I disagree, I think even in custom content the mage epic should stay incredibly rare and be impossible for non-AA Mages to ever get" ... without attacking anyone personally for disagreeing with you (and making up straw men about welfare pixels and the like)?

Adding magnetaress to my forum ignore list was one of the finest QoL improvements I have experienced in 8-1/2 years here. When someone is roleplaying stupid on the forums it is best to remember that you can't argue with stupid.
