Yeah I never actually really believed that Nirgon reported it but I still am kind of coming up short with why a whole thread was just completely deleted without reason. I mean, they don't own us a reason free game blah blah. But like, it just... makes me scratch my head.

Because some human being very literally looked at that thread and then made a conscious decision to delete it. And it wasn't random. There WAS a reason. But what was that reason?

I'd guess a controlling personality disorder. Why else would anyone try to moderate a RnF forum? If they were acting rationally they'd just put a stickied warning post up, and then let the forum burn brightly.

The only reason I can possibly think why they deleted it, after reading the stickied “Forum Rules,” is:

Spam
Do not spam the forums. Multiple threads or posts of the same content, phrase, or message, will be considered as spam and deleted.

Only reason I assume this is because the thread had multiple posts with the same content directed at DMO. However, there are numerous threads about DMO (a few on the front page made BY DMO), so I’m not sure why this one stuck out over any other. Nothing else in the List Rules seemed relevant, so realistically I think the answer is, “we’ll never know.”
