I wholeheartedly agree. The hate generation from melee damage is not the same as it was in classic, resulting in warriors being forced to use proc weapons to maintain agro. Now with the patch reducing proc rates, maintaining agro is extremely difficult (whereas before it was just somewhat difficult).
Something definitely needs to be fixed here. Why alter the proc rates to "classic" when the agro generation algorithm is not "classic"? It makes warriors useless in comparison to hybrids for tanking. I'm boycotting this nonsense and playing an alt until things improve.

This is actually about where it was in Live, because now all melee classes need their aggro-management tools to keep the mob on warriors until the Taunt skill gets fixed. Monks FD, Rogues evade (probably need an evade fix here), and now Rangers need the Jolt spell put in. This is what caused the creation of the Jolt spell. It is the responsibility of the rest of the group to keep the aggro on the tank.

No, this is not where it was on live. Verant had to nerf proc hate in Velious because proc weapons made holding aggro effortless for tanks. Right now, holding aggro is impossible WITH procs.
This was discussed in other threads so the devs are already aware. I'm not going to boycott my warrior but I'm not playing him much until this is fixed, as watching the monks tank while I can't get the mob on me for more than one second makes me sort of worthless.
