Proper Etiquette When Getting a Port

I really agree with this. I think people have been spoiled by playing on Blue or even Live. By the time a player gets to level 15 or 20, they should be able to afford a couple ports. People should avoid porting all over Norrath...just try the nearest 1-3 exp zones. Porting all over in search of the perfect exp spot is a waste.

2. A good donation is 1p per lvl. If you are on a CR it's always free. If you don't have plat go make more plat before you ask for a port. Items worth plat are also welcomed. A lot of porters sit in EC selling their shit.

I think we might have to go down to half a plat (5 gold) per level for Green/Teal, but at some point the server will outgrow that phase and we'll be back to the 1-plat-per-level standard that is already established on Blue.

It is also OK for a porter to state their rates in their /ooc advertising message. If people don't like the rate offered, they can opt not to employ that porter.

3. When sending a tell for a port always say where you are and where you wanna go. For example "NK to Tox?" You don't have to ask how I'm doing or if I'm working. Get to the point. Never say "can I get a port to NK" I have no idea where you are I've been porting around all night I don't have time to do a /w all "name" just to find you are anon.

This also makes things faster for the person asking for a port. I'm not sure why people would be mad about this one. It would benefit everyone involved.
