Are boxes still dropping?

I know RNG can be silly, but the spot I am camping I saw perhaps 7 boxes drop 44-45 and from 45-47 over the last few days, I saw no boxes. Are they still dropping?

Now that you mention it, I have not seen one in awhile either and I tend to see several a week camping my usual xp spot, plenty have rotted.

It's horrible RNG. I had 1-2 boxes drop per day for a week, then nothing for 4 days including a hardcore weekend.
