I'm not sure when the PNP was formalized, but it was well before RoK, so the window in which you could KS without consequence was small at best.
Correct

I like everything handed to be please make more servers. I hate socializing in my mmorpgs. Any chance we can get instanced versions of Lower Guk? Even with the population split I still may have to group and interact or wait in line for for a manastone.

You just described everything wrong with retail World of Warcraft.

Dude you're so full of shit. You just make up random stuff and probably never even played classic Everquest.
There was never any rules about standing in line to get a kill on anything.
Just like there was never any mob limits or pbae limits.
Or lists, or any of the these weirdo follow the white line to the next exp distribution point rules.

People like you literally ruined classic for p99 btw.
You're **NEVER** getting your Chardok Swarm RMT-ring back bro. Suck it up and move on.

in addition to timezones, people also struggle with the fact that rather than there being one uniform classic everquest experience, different servers had different populations and qualities, and were very different in important ways
So much this! I’m reading some of these posts and scratching my head, because I played EQ the year it came out my entire summer vacation. I remember there being rules that were player and guild enforced about stealing camps, ninja looting, training, etc. Maybe some of you played on servers that were full of a-holes, but on E’ci the experience was much more “play nice.”

Reading this and your other posts, you come across as a guy with a strong interest in keeping items super rare.

It doesn't take a leap of logic to assume you are benefiting from that rarity in some meaningful way.

As someone playing a game, it would mean you would hold a sense of value and accomplishment in the item you 'earned'. But your anger seems to far exceed this.

I wonder what benefit you are looking to leverage in a restricted economy.
When I logged in today it was over 2k. The split needs to take into account server loads at peak times, which are over 2200 nightly. Anything over 1200 and an EQ server started to get a bit crowded. So, logging in on a Sunday morning and seeing 1600 on is indicative of overcrowding in and of itself, since you're over optimum population in a non-peak playtime.

And apparently this same thing is wrong with a decent amount of this community who can't handle the most popular places being crowded enough that they might have to wait a bit to get into a group

everytime I log into green I'm filled with joyful emotions that I get to play a classic fresh server on project 1999.
