The UI on beta is quite different then blue been a lot of change too. I'm sure Rogean will let us know which patch to use for green.

Login to Green Beta and create a character. Set up your UI there. Your UI settings will be saved to UI_<character name>_P1999Green.ini

That looks like the same naming format Green will use, so your UI setting should just automatically carry over when Green goes live, as long as its the same character name. If the character name is different then rename the file to match.

AND, even if you don't get the name, you can just copy and paste your UI contents into your new character's UI file.

I left back in 2011 and deleted my characters. When I came back, the names of my characters are no longer available, so I cannot make them on blue anyway. They were available in Green beta though.

Not to mention, I am not going to create another folder just to log into blue and get a name. It's not worth it to me. Most people that have two folders right now are having issues with the game.

I keep one game install and I have two patch folders open. I copy and paste the files from the patches into the main folder depending on which server I want. It's just a control-a, control-c, and control-v and confirm overwrite.

Make sure your and your friends antivirus doesn't quarantine the dsetup.dll it false flags.

A couple more ways to prep is setting up your ui layout before launch.

Hey! Yeah I remember your name. I'm excited to be back. When I was playing before I was just too far behind the curve to get in any steady groups for my level. So I played 3 rounds of TLPs.

Others are saying I'm dumb to play Everquest again. My response is there is nothing out game wise that is any good, including those game's communities. P99 community has so many awesome people playing. I have always had a good experience playing, so many helpful high level players. If I'm going to invest my days in a game it will be the Green launch.
