Always played a Ranger , my first class. Though it was a woodelf. Really thinking I want to go human Ranger this time. To be different and have a totally different starting area and experience. Should be fun! Still very doable. Going to go the tradeskill and self sufficient route. Keeping supplied for long trips away from civilization, tracking my prey through the wilds with bow , spell, and sword!

Worst in classic (and presumable in Kunark and Velious as well) is probably Human Wizard of Bertox.

Blind, fugly, bad faction, average stats, no group wants them, solo means quadding blue mobs, no farming potential, no good duo class.

Ideally you'd want to put all your starting points into AGI.

Very heavily leaning Half-Elf for my Paladin now, but I still might change my mind fifty times between now and launch.

Mostly decided - I have a "grouping" class and a "solo" class for when I have less time available and just want to muck around.

Just unsure which I want to level first. My playtime is minimal these days, so I might only get one to 50 by the time the planes hit.... so I might have to choose just one class that I have a shot at guise / manastone / rubicite / jboots / etc. on.

Yeah but you're still a Wizard. You can port, join any raid guild you want, afk in groups and no one cares.

That's nowhere near Ranger levels of masochism.
