dunno if trolling or not. Then why did you talk so much in voice? I think I was the only one that never said a peep (until near the end) and used it to just listen to orders.

But I agree that EQ does NOT need voice. Its a slow paced game and I remember in Temerity on EQmac we never used it, raid instructions were given in guildchat and it worked out fine.

re: pvp,. voicechat and unclassic mousewheel cheapened EQ pvp. Made it too easy to assist train people down. I remember when voice entered into shadowbane mainstream too, did the SAME thing. Instead of more chaotic and spread out mass pvp, it became a very boring game of /assist target and spam insta kill everyone one by one (and vice versa). It became a game of one tactic and not nearly as fun as the pre voice days.

Getting RID of mousewheel would be a huge help for classic EQ pvp on red.
