IP exemption shared from blue?
If my brother and I have an IP exemption for blue, will it carry over to green?

I always just assumed all P99 servers shared the same account exemptions...

I can confirm that Blue IP exemptions work on the beta.

They do, I was told the admins are allowing boxing for beta, but not Green. Unconfirmed though.

I'm mainly referring to live. We have one for blue and don't want to be blindsided on launch and not be able to play together. I guess no one can really confirm that as of now?

Well, the exemption is tied to the IP's not which server you log into, so the assumption would be that you are fine. I suppose verification is a fair request though.

The exemptions for blue are applied to the EQEmu account. I would be surprised if there’s a separate set of exemptions applied, and I would hope that they would have let us know by now to start requesting them.
I think there would be some value in it though. Exemptions on blue are probably a mess because many were established when account trading and sharing were allowed, which I believe resulted in many players having a disproportionate number of exemptions. I always felt like the IP restriction to prevent boxing only helped prevent people from stupidly/ignorantly/inadvertently breaking the rule. Anybody really trying to be sneaky and get away with it will get themselves an IP exemption and/or use VPN and/or multiple ISPs. | ||
