It totally happens, i've been leapfrogged a few times.. Especially in The Hole, or other zones that require a crawl back... And it sucks man..

Like I said, in my experience people will give a reasonable amount of time like about 10-15 minutes. But if you're taking awhile to crawl back then they will eventually take it. People don't just do so the second you die.

Really? So you're saying you've seen groups immediately roll in and try and steal the HK gobs, or the Unrest camps, or Mistmoore CE, or etc. etc. when the current group dies and is coming back to loot their corpses and get going again? Because I haven't seen that happen once.

It happens often and there isn't any reason to take offence at the act itself. You die, you lose your camp. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on. Find something else to do and be ready for when opportunity comes your way. We're not talking about cutting in bread lines, we're talking about a competitive environment in which people invest their leisure. The move is within the rules of the game and some individuals have far less time to invest than others. how is into fair or reasonable to demand that they subsidize your ineptitude. The road travels both ways too, there is nothing noble about you sacrificing your free time for the benefit of other nerds unless you derive some satisfaction from it. Sacrifice unto itself is waste.

Like I said, that's your personal opinion and not the general practice of most people on the server. I'm sure if you're talking about holding down a super valuable camp like the AC, king, etc. then things are different. But people aren't being assholes over your average camp.

So I’m “an asshole” for moving into a dungeon camp after:

(x1) pally dies
i move into the camp
Lhen (red con alt) runs into camp after I kill a PH
Engages in verbal abuse and attempts to train and steal camp
Dies an additional (x2) times on said Wiz and tries to train me one final time

The screenshots from both parties are equally void of a lot of context. They could both be explained away in more than one way. Due to their ambiguity and no further proof we can only conclude that both parties are telling a portion of the truth. The ruling, barring further evidence, should probably be settled on p99 law - you die, you lose the camp. That's really the only fact we get straight from both parties.

That being said, by no means do I believe that anyone who posted in this thread would be described as having valuable time.
