I forgot about this thread. Teppler, there is no reasoning with willful ignorance or fanatic zealotry. When confronted with irrifutible facts, they resort to deflecting or attacking the messenger. See above example of both wrapped into one. Never you mind about the truth about ol Paul Jr., that's easily ignored if you close your eyes, ears and mind.
There is no independent thought or simple rationality. When confronted with reality there is a uniform reaction: the contrived talking points and marching orders that they all pick up "coincidentally", yet are uniform across the board. You've already mentioned that.
To them, Adam Schiff is to be revered and emulated. Who needs to tell the truth when you have zombies who hang on every word because they want to believe so badly that they believe anything that makes them feel good which with the left means being filled with rage and bitterness. Not how i would want to live but hey, i guess if i was also a disappointment to myself I might feel the same way. TDS is real.
The only reason i can see to engage is that maybe someone who doesn't follow current events will see what is going on in the world and be coherent enough to see facts for what they are. Getting through to these guys frothing at the mouth is an excersise in futility i think.
