Total coincidence that I found this thread. Haven't played an MMO in years. Was just looking at the Blizzard site to see how many WoW expansions there are now. Then I searched for the Ascent guild site (they were on Medivh and then moved to Thrall). Now they are Gong Show on Detheroc.

So then I decided to search for old Everquest friends. Not kidding, first thing I typed was "blyte everquest rodcet". Now I'm here. +1 to my Google-fu skill.

I started my EQ career on Rodcet, had a Barb warrior named Korlaor (think he was around level 34). Left Rodcet when Sullon zek went live and ended up on FV, but my very first memories of eq were on rodcet.

heh, well I never was a fan of ascent.. liked a lot of the players but didn't care for the leadership. I thought we, untold sorrows, were the best guild on the server (pound for pound), but I am biased =P
