Merchants: Purchasing Stacks Boots Me from Merchant Window

I have been seeing this a lot on my Mage, but also on other characters. It used to happen very rarely, but it seems to be quite frequent recently.

I experience crash to client screen/complete game crash when buying and/or selling stackable items either using CTRL or SHIFT. I also experience occasional crashes when summoning stackable items like food or bandages.

I have also noticed that sometimes as a result of the crash and sometimes even when not crashing, if I zone or log out, strange things happen to the stacks of items I was buying or selling or summoning. Sometimes purchased items and the money spent on them disappear after I have zoned. Sometimes items show up on my cursor after I have zoned. Sometimes I am unable to loot mobs until I zone and find the items I had summoned and placed in my bags are back on my cursor.
