Anyone know how to make the game less "laggy"? I have an old computer and EQ runs quite slow on it. I have XP, with 1 GB of RAM. I know there's a way to reduce clip plane, etc. I fiddled with some display adjustments. I need to know specifically what to do to make it run smoother.

I've done corpse runs to BB and crashed THREE times so far. It's actually worse for me now compared to when I had dial-up in '99. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The game will need a beefier PC than it needed in 99 since the engine is from 2005 (Titanium).

One of a few things you can do to increase FPS is, make sure you close stuff running in the background. Music players etc. If you want to listen to music use the ingame player.

A huge one is turning off the Sky. So press ALT + O to bring up options, and then turn off the sky in there. Should increase your FPS significantly.
