cleric/ranger or sham/ranger

For a duo. anything with a cleric is gonna be boring after a whille.

A shaman may provide additional priest class support, while providing a bit more varied of combat options, so you dont tire from boredom. (:

i think a ranger / shaman would be very interesting the rangers poor melee stats will be buffed comparable to that of other classes, whille both having priest/wisdom class qualities. Down time would be low since you can track mobs. and heal.
Only thing lacking is good reliable crowd control and a nuker.

if the shaman is of a large race, slam will benifet this party greatly.

by 24. ull have dual wield, regen, heals, tracking, Root, bow skills. and it will be
a interesting experience.
