I'll say it again: the wall is a do-nothing gesture meant to mollify the conservative voting base into believing their politicians are working on the problem.
In reality, Donald Trump and others like him will continue hiring illegals to clean their hotels and pick their crops, and illegals will continue to come, because they know "lucrative" work is available to them. No, the progressive liberal alternative of porous borders and unlimited illegal asylum is not a good idea. But that doesn't make the wall anything other than a $5+ billion waste of money. | ||
