Game Mechanics: Mage Pet Spells

So, has any developer commented on this issue or were any changes made?

I, too, played a mage back on live before Luclin era (quit during Velious) and I remember that my pets all casted frequently. In fact, the earth pet's root was so vital to my strategy as a mage as it was literally the only way I broke camps/dealt with adds, by backing my earth pet off as soon as the root was applied to a mob so I could just deal with one mob at a time.

I recently joined P99 two months ago and it is so obvious how much less frequently the pets cast their spells, that sometimes my pet would go almost 30+ seconds before even casting its root!! very frustrating and not classic at all.

(that being said, a big thank you to the devs for allowing us to enjoy this game! Please help us mages relive the experience too because we are 100% dependent on our pets, especially earth pet for CC!!!)
