Who are you talking about exactly? The vast majority of ToV-raid capable guilds (probably all?) will happily take the initiative to acquire and earn finite resources in a fair environment.

But what you seem to be missing is there are 8 trillion and five (exact number) different "environments" those guilds could earn finite resources in. This new rule takes us from one of those 8 trillion and five to a different one, but it does nothing to eliminate "earning pixels".

You earn pixels by killing dragons, not by pooping in socks.

Looks like some people can get jobs now instead of waiting for a batphone at 3am on a tuesday. Also gives casuals a chance at loot. Interesting to see how many people stay in zerg guilds now, because there was zero competition when the number one guild was a bunch of unemployed stay at home sons.
