EverQuest Windows - Application Error

Greetings, im having trouble running Everquest after installing it from my ISO files.
Its been a while since ive played on P99 and Im excited to come back and play, also seeing how the population size has increased. After I login to my account and get to the server select screen I select the BLUE server and it starts to load to the Character Select Screen while Loading I get this error:

Everquest: Windows - Application Error

The instruction at 0x02b54b4 referenced memory at 0x0375f05c. The memory could not be read. Click on ok to terminate the program.

Ive tried reinstalling I believe 3 times now with no luck giving the same error. If anyone could shed some light on the problem that would be amazing as im looking forward to playing again. Thanks P99 Community.

Edit: I just tried running the game again and its giving me a diffrent set of numbers 0x02ad45b4 and 0x036df05c for the second set of numbers.

I fixed the problem on my own, for anyone else having this kind of error and your running Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 goto eqgame.exe and set compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3 that seemed to fix it, I was able to make it to the character select screen.
