Sometimes homicide simply should be legal and people should be trained and empowered to defend themselves from abusive people. Hell they should be responsible for their own self defense.

The government shouldn't clean up the mess or pay for stitches or bullet removal or burial either. People should be required to deal with this shit like the homicidal apes they are and deserve to be treated as.

I can 100% guarantee homicide would have 100% changed the trajectory of my life. But it's not as easy to get away with as it was in the 1940's.

The government will never be able to enforce human decency and make people be "good". People are inherently vicious animals. Very few can rise above that state on their own, and the state can't make it happen for them either.
