New to P99 played EQ originally

Hey guys!! New to P99! Starting with a high elf mage, hopefully not a bad choice... excited to get back to this great game i played years ago with original EQ. What's the skinny on magicians? I always liked playing them.

Welcome. Mages have the most time consuming epic to complete, are self sufficient and the least maintenance required to play class. I prefer a Necro over a mage myself, but to each their own!

Yeah, i thought about necro, i love dark elves, one of my favorite races, but high elf mage is what i started with way back, so it just felt right to continue that journey where i left off.

I main a mage! They are a perfect class for solo and grouping!! 10/10 would do it again. Look up information about chain summoning. This will get you through solo till 40. Any mag questions just PM me or ask rorandor ingame.

Mages are great for a newcomer.

Not a huge responsibility in groups, can solo cash camps, etc.

Epic is one of the hardest though.

Going mage also here ... I'm deciding to go human or DE for mage ... love the DE looks and love the human srt. LOL going to flip a coin a guess lol.
