If she found the conditions so deplorable, why didn't she leave immediately? Remember, she went there on a lark! Her explanation for moving there in the first place was 'Well, why not?' A rational woman would have said 'this is not what I signed up for' after a month, or even a year, and left. If she was absolutely in love with her job, she could have moved in with a husband or boyfriend.
So no, I don't care. This article was written from her perspective and it still makes her look like a moron. I can't even imagine what an objective article would look like.
