It's the players who enjoyed the schadenfreude of griefing new people off the server with their de-leveled fungi-wearing twink, while the rest of the server stood by and did nothing. Instead of (say) trying to setup a system to kill such griefers and protect new players, most Red players instead encouraged the practice, and told the new players to "git gud" (or something equivalent).

And then look, hey, barely anyone plays on the server, almost as if anyone who had any interest was prevented from doing so ... shocker!
For sure, I remember leveling - and the guild that was posting in ooc nearly daily for recruits was griefing us out of xp camps.

Sirken did the community good overall. He’s no angel nor a devil. The dude was coerced / honey potted by an Internet hoe. Alls fair in love n war and it just so happened he took some frustration out on some innocent people (not you tho tUne you deserved what you got)

I steadily watched his decline and almost thought he was a staple here forever... (Kind of too bad his whole agent smith thing was great)

People lose their ways now and again ... I strongly suggest you forgive him / get off his case.
It's one thing to get played. That's what players do. It's quite another to take that resultant rage out on others. That's like the logic that incel school shooters go by. Can't get laid so just hurt whoever you like.

The thought process should be to move on and up your game.

should have been boxing on red a long time ago

this server is harder than live , need boxing so stuff can actually die
that is your perspective

someone spending 10-20 hours a week to get to lvl 60, doesn't want to risk getting banned for boxing

euro players don't have many folks to fall back on either

I came out on a druid to help Unrest groups when I could.

Gotta realize we were busy fighting a damn elf war and a bunch of us had big boy jobbies. Burn out stuff man.

Plenty of griefing junkies on blue selling epic MQs rather than being pals. You think I don't know that? Where do you think I found out about Trak not being classic and people soulfire tanking Venril? So many of you wonderful, talented (not red scum!) players are welfare kings and you've told me so without knowing I was on the given character or in the voice channel. I've been in VD (love me some Ambertis) ,BDA,TMO etc and put in more hours than most of the people in this thread.

You gotta imagine me being there one night on a raid then the next day you're arguing with me saying we aren't knowingly exploiting something and it is classic. Shit was gud, makes me wanna do it again kind of.

I've had pleasant interactions with a lot of red players, pretty much all of them, but the server was already unplayable for casuals in 2015, with the current pop as a result.

Does anyone think Smallme made his record by playing a low 50s druid?

He had more buffs in screenshots then I had on raids. I'm sure someone felt great going 200-0, the 40 casuals that got wrecked 4 times in a row just left the server.

lol that is literally a full time job protecting newbs from server trolls

my guilds didnt even pvp that much to even constitute grief

we even had a leader board and out of 700 kills over the course of years i rarely had the same person dead twice

u didnt think to try to hide in a different zone until u were more powerful? did u have to level in mistmore?

lotta cry babying goin on here

Lets not pretend people on red had jobs.

I was suspected a spy and all that, but the day I told Jibeknn I had a job was the day I saw most question marks in chat.

Some people on red couldn't even imagine others having employment outside the game.

Tune would like you to believe he never cheated and getting banned for cheating (5 years ago now)? Was just derebal and sirken against him.

Here's some facts:

Most of his "close" friends in EQ around the time of his bannage had been banned for RMT or using hacks yet he persists he never hacked even though half the server has stories of him doing things that require hacks to achieve.

It's akin to living in a heroin junkie house and looking and talking like a junkie but sayin' you aint one.

One more time, the people on blue ARE worse.

And yeah dude tons of lifers with no job on red too but blue is unrivaled. I miss big Cipro and hope he still has the shark pillow I bought him. Dude was playing in a fucking wooden chair 12+ hours a day with no padding. See that's another dude people didn't like and picked on that I got to know and appreciate. He had a really good side but was reactive and of course not perfect.

this guy loves to just keep proving my point

more stories, more kool aid fed trolls crying to GMs

too much gm involvement

bans without proof ,+ corruption

now we have come full circle
