We're close to losing democracy either way. Conservatives can only be so conservative before everyone decides it's dumb and blows it up. Liberals can only be so communist until everything everyone does must go through some retardedly bureaucratic process where they die before it gets through the queue. I'd say we're already there. The Republicans can't make it work around the kinda ppl who think it's cool basically never ever make their beds at least 1 day a month and who leave food on their dishes piled in the sink without rinsing.

Basically we have a lot of people who lack the basic capabilities to use their freedom wisely and ensure it endures anymore.
