Dana White right now, what does he do? 1. Strip him of the title? 2. Let him keep it? 3. Ban him from competing in UFC? (27-0, hard to turn him loose) 4. Fine him his fight money? Needs to set an example, that was too wild...too soft and other fighters will see it as a green light to pull the same shit.

Nothing will happen, if anything this sells another undeserved rematch. If it wasn't clearly emotionally charged, I would even entertain the conspiracy theory that this was all staged because McGregor had nothing for Khabib and there was no reason for a rematch.
- Videos show that Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis actually threw the first punches (of course, they were just defending themselves but it's important to take note) https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses...19503121891330 https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses...12183793127424 - Conor jumped in the Bellator cage post fight and started attacking fighters and the ref, UFC did nothing about that http://www.espn.com/mma/story/_/id/2...g-bellator-187 - Conor attacked a bus full of people cutting weight, injured people and got three UFC fights cancelled, UFC did nothing about that https://www.mmanytt.com/latest-news/...egor-incident/ - Many people have jumped the fence before, so that is also nothing new The UFC is of course trying to spin this as a tragedy but behind closed doors, they're celebrating. Khabib is now a star. Even if they wanted to punish Khabib, their past actions set precedents and basically make it almost impossible to do anything without being called out for obvious double standards. My guess is they will bury this as soon as possible and use the footage to sell a rematch and any followup fights just like they did with the trolley incident.

And don't get me wrong, as a longtime fan of the UFC this is a fucking tragedy, and I do not condone what happened, but the time to set a precedent was when Conor was going through his coked up star phase. The UFC did not, so they only have themselves to blame for what happened last night.
That being said, both McGregor and Danis had it coming. I do feel bad for Tony Ferguson, he perfectly set up a fight vs either man with his stunning performance, and hardly anyone is talking about him

What Conor did with the bus was far worse. I'd be surprised if the title was stripped

McGregor just needs to go. He's turned it into pro-wrestling with his antics and attitude.
Isn't McGregor being sued for the bus incident?

Can someone explain what happened exactly in this fight? In terms that someone who knows absolutely nothing about MMA or the history of these fighters will understand? It seems juicy but I'm lost.
