Denial Nerd points.. let's tally mine 'em up:

I owned Pong, when it was brand new, and was addicted to it. +1

I played Atari for hours a day and loved it, before it ever was called the 2600. "Combat" ftw. +1

I bought a brand new Commodore, not the crappy C64 mind ya. Oh no, I had to be a pro uber nerd at the age of 15 and get the Commodore 128. And then actually program my own crappy games on it.. which were about like low tech Space Invaders. +2

Later I played the D&D games on the C128 which required changing the discs whenever you zoned, 8 discs at that. Pool of Radiance addict. +1

I actually used the modem on that C128 to go "online" and send text to my friend down the street. I got to his house before the message even arrived. +1

I owned the NES, then Genesis, then SonyCD, and never moved off of consoles until I saw Iksar in Kunark. And thought Iksar were the coolest thing since Pong. +1

I drove 7 hours and slept in my Camaro to go to an Everquest-fest thing in Baltimore to meet members of my guild IRL. +1

I still think Iksar are the coolest thing since Pong. +1

I married a bigger nerd than I am. +2

That's over 10 nerd points. More depending on your grading system. To look at me you'd never know I was so uncool [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
