Nothing remotely high and mighty about my guild. I'm talking about respecting people's time. Only reason I mentioned guilds was because it's guilds that chase the quakes. Multiple guilds X multiple members = a lot of people.

If you heard about an event in real life, made plans to attend said event, got all your friends to make plans to go to the event, drove hours to attend the event, only to arrive and find out there is no event, and the person who created the event didn't bother to tell you, would you be annoyed? How is this any different?
