Default Tell if Named mob is Up

Is there a commend to tell if a named mob is in the zone? Not his position but just that he is up?

Your best bet would be to have a tracker. Bards druids and rangers all get the tracking skill

If you can summon a pet you can do /pet attack name
Otherwise NO there is no command. This is pure classic velious.

#loc doesn't work for players on p99.

As Baler suggested, Pet tracking is the cheesy way this is done. To clarify how this works if you do "/pet attack Vulak" and Vulak is up, your pet will respond that he is attacking vulak (most likely he is not close enough to vulak to actually go chase him down so will stay where he is). If Vulak is not up you will get no response msg from your pet.

Note you do not need to type the npc full name, just enough of it that no other npc would share the same starting characters.
